Pros

There are no good reasons for working for this company now that it's changed hands so many times since I started working there 6 years ago when it was Alpine Access then Sykes and now only one month later after they would not accommodate my disability reduced schedule and offer me a position to move to it's called found ever. All of the constant change was fine until Sitel took over Sykes. They provide equipment to use for the job.

Cons

No part-time jobs are offered. Change programs you work for often and start you on a temporary campaign then possibly offer you a permanent position after the campaign is over. They offer no flexibility whatsoever when it comes to positions being offered when a program ends. That's what happened to me and why I'm unemployed right now after working for the former named above companies for 6 years at four different programs within that time. The recruiter I was in constant contact with could not even find a position that would work for me to offer. They also did away with State paid sick time that you could accrue and use like I did for 6 years. Their company benefits are very expensive. Their onboarding process is a lot more extensive and harder to get a position there than before.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
