Pros

Better than being unemployed and will help pay some bills. However I'm already looking for the backdoor.

Cons

Incompetent IT personnel that lack rudimentary IT skills commonly known as "The Basics" in the IT industry which contributes to and escalates unnecessary stress among call center agents and support staff. Inconsistent managerial staff that cannot agree on already written policies, procedures and expectations of job duties. This leaves call center agents having to choose sides as to what coach or manager they support, ultimately destroying the customer and member experience. Unprofessional working environment due to agents and managerial staff using intimidation, manipulation and crude language to manage its employees or co-workers.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
