Pros

VTO time if you need to do errands and you are in good standing. They feed you junk food on Friday. Extensive training provided. Slightly above minimum wage.

Cons

Bully mentality of the coaches will pull you away from your desk to complain about a petty thing, like using the coffeemaker. In other words bring your own coffee dont use ours. Vending machine too expensive lockers too small. High turnover rate. Mostly millinenial population, if your over 40 they will make you feel uncomfortable. The events all focus around the millinenial age, trjps to darien lake, and movie night, neither apply or appeal to me. The ice cream day was a great ideal. Once you do go with sales they raise the goals so high , which set you up for failure. There is never a leader around to take a kudos call, and if there was, they were reluctant to give the CSR credit where credit belongs. McDonalds, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts all pay better than Sitel. Last but not least , denial to grant time off for a funeral. That is very heartless. A funeral is not a joyious occasion what so ever. Someone took my cell phone when I mentioned it was pinged by law enforcement it appeared in my locker. Also I have witnessed employees passing pills to one another. I want to give them benefit of the doubt and think it is OTC medication, but after hearing of a fellow employee dying of an overdose 3 months back .

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
