Pros

The best thing about working at Sitel is that they offer split shifts which allows you to do things such as prepare dinner grocery shop even rest. The pay is ok for a college student.

Cons

It's very difficult to get information that should be easy to answer than always getting told reach out to your coach only for the coach to say reach out to HR. They should increase pay after training is over and you move into production. They say they work with college students and create a schedule to accommodate class schedules but really don't then tell you to find somebody who has a schedule you think will work and trade with them. Wish the 2 off days would stay the same instead of one day off one floating day which means one day is set but the other day will change maybe every two or three weeks

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
