A great place to work - Office Coordinator Forward Slash Technology Employee Review

Pros

I like working at FST because it lets me have a flexible schedule. I live south of the city and hate the traffic. I was able to to work out a start/end time that worked with my schedule and allowed me to avoid the heavy traffic. And the job is not just a gopher farm. While you still have to get your work done, you can visit with co-workers, stretch your legs with a standing desk when you need to... grab a company provided snack or a drink when you need it... or pelt your coworker in the back of the head with balls from a Nerf gun. There are always some kind of food or a toy around the office.

Cons

On-the-job napping is discouraged. (darn the bad luck)

Pros

FST is not a large company, which is great because management treats everyone like family. Everyone works very hard, but we like to have fun as well. Everyone has varying levels of expertise, so there is a lot of room to learn from each other. Our clients are awesome and it's enjoyable to see how happy they are when working with FST.

Pros

They provide free food, a small company, and decent pay. The company has great potential if the owner would step aside and let the loyal employees work the business. Some of the employees are very dedicated and truly care about you.

Cons

To start, I would like to say that all of the other reviews are from people who still work there. This was the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. There is a major lack in training, policies and procedures, and professionalism. The owner of the company is the worst part of the job. He talks to his employees, completely disrespectfully, half the time he doesn’t know what’s going on, And he’s always trying to make changes that make the job much harder, not smarter. The culture feels like a start-up even though they have been in business for over 10 years. A few employees have horrible attitudes.
