Pros

I have been with the company for two years and love my job! My office and team are extraordinary and we work collaboratively with both FSET and W2 programs but also collaborate with other agencies in the community. All positions work well together to support each other. It is one of the best feelings to help someone make a change in their life and better themselves and at FSC, we get to do it everyday! There are lots of opportunities for growth in the company, so it's great to know there are opportunities to move up into supervisor/management. Fast paced work environment where you get to work with customers with very different stories, goals, experiences and backgrounds.

Cons

There is a definite learning curve to feeling "excellent" at your job. The programs have policy developed by the state, so learning policy and being able to effectively manage and monitor your caseload takes time. It's easy to get overwhelmed but everyone will tell you it takes time to really grasp policy. There is also lots monitoring to ensure compliance with state policy. The intentions are good in that they are to keep cases clean but when you have a lot of stuff to do and need to go back and fix things it can be frustrating. As far as benefits, copays for health insurance has been the killer for my family.
