Cons
You are just a number at this firm. Will be given a written warning for taking leave for the APC exam, on the day you need to go on leave to study. Yet you will be congratulated by printing your name under the Mazars brand when you have passed in the papers without disclosing what they put you through right before your exam for taking study leave. Very toxic environment with no support from management. Nepotism is rife wrt promotions. Lack of appreciation and recognition and favoritism towards others. Poor pay, ie no increases and barely any bonuses. Dangerous working conditions, i.e. will be expected to travel late in the evening as a woman alone to remote township areas. Long working hours with no boundaries. Budgets are inaccurate and you are expected to work for free in order to try and meet the unrealistic timeframes. High staff turnover.
