Not great projects, poor reputation doesn’t help. Terrible management, lack of leadership and direction, crappy culture (despite trying to appear otherwise) The firm doesn’t understand what it’s good at and not good at and invests poorly in the wrong things. Terrible training and focus on fundamentals and little care by partners to actually fix that.
