Pros

Supportive coworkers, good exposure to finance and business operations, and opportunities to work cross-functionally with different teams. The company is growing, so there is room to learn and take ownership.

Cons

Processes can feel a bit unclear at times, and priorities may shift quickly. Some systems and reporting workflows could be more streamlined. Like many growing companies, communication between teams can sometimes be inconsistent.

Pros

I’ve had a positive experience working here, particularly because of the supportive team environment and strong collaboration across colleagues in different countries. The benefits package is competitive, and the company offers an excellent work-life balance. Compensation feels aligned with individual performance and contributions. Leadership is generally receptive to new ideas and encourages professional growth and development. The company also stands out for its culture, community involvement through charitable giving, employee well-being webinars and events, and free access to continuous learning resources.

Cons

Some processes could be smoother, especially around meetings and time management. Getting approval for needed software can sometimes take longer than expected, and on new projects, access to requirements is not always as clear or timely as it could be, which can slow down progress.

Pros

Fortra has a lot of resources and a huge portfolio of different products to work with, service, and sell. They have some very good continuing education programs and easy PTO policies.

Cons

Way too big now. Being an employee feels like living on a whole different level of reality from the upper management and decision making. Individual feedback is a drop in the ocean and unfortunately it doesn't appear the expertise of the individual contributors is value very highly, even when the subject is one where they are the SME at the company.
