Cons
No overtime
You are expected to work 60+ hours a week on the road
You may be on the road 80+% of a nine month period
You are expected to work 7 days a week while on the road (3 weeks in a row was not abnormal for me)
If there is a mechanical problem, it will not be considered a mechanical problem until the mechanical head is dragged to the site and shown in person the issue. Until then, you will be at the mercy of the customer.
