Pros
Its rewarding work - helping to make clinical trials run more efficiently. Formedix offer a 4 day working week policy which is fantastic - having an extra day off every single week completely changes the work life balance. Plus it means you only need to use 4 days holiday to take a full week off! Onboarding process was smooth - which was important, especially being a remote employee. Welcomed into the wider team through regular virtual meetings. The company has made a lot of new hires recently - it feels good to be in a small but growing team. Monthly company wide meetings keep everyone updated with things that are going on and progress. These meetings are followed by pizza and social events for those in commuting distance of the office and sometimes virtual sessions so that remote workers can join in too.
Cons
Only con is that the company currently provides the minimum / statutory pension contribution. Previous pensions have been better at other companies but the extra time I get by working a 4 day week makes up for this to be fair.
