Pros

Remote work is the only pro.

Cons

The company is mostly remote but believe me you will be GLUED to her home desk and work many hours of overtime while on salary so no overtime pay. This company just experienced MAJOR LAY OFF. They laid off an entire region of employees while still hiring “executive leadership” positions. They are clearly heading to bankruptcy and FAST! The company is being mishandled and leaders have not one clue what is going on at any given moment the entire mission will shift. Misguided employees are running themselves as leaders hide behind meetings. On multiple occasions employees will be trained on a format and one day later will be scolded for doing it that way and told to do it differently with no training. Multiple times they “launched” a new system or format for example on the 1st and the employee training for that dame format will be scheduled for the 5th which made no sense. Leaders wouldn’t even realize this until the day of the launch. I was hired, barely trained, and mostly working blindly until the major lay off which was 3 days after receiving a glowing performance review and I was laid off with no explanation. There was no rhyme or reason to the layoff as employees from every level were fired. Clinical directors, clinicians, therapists. Admin staff and more. An entire region in Pennsylvania was eliminated. Patients are often frustrated and dancing between clinicians and upset.

I love that as a mental health care provider Forge Health makes a point to evaluate and learn about every client. My colleagues are helpful, team players with a drive to make our patients lives better.

Cons

I really haven't found any.

Pros

Remote work, flexibility, great med staff and chief med officer

Cons

While the organization has talented employees and the potential for success, the overall work environment has become increasingly challenging due to frequent organizational changes and inconsistent leadership direction. Processes and priorities often shift on a quarterly basis, creating uncertainty and making it difficult for teams to establish stability and long-term success. One of the most concerning aspects of the culture is the lack of professional communication and transparency at the leadership level. Gossip and internal politics often appear to influence decision-making, which can negatively impact morale, trust, and collaboration across teams. Unfortunately, this environment has contributed to the departure of many highly skilled and dedicated employees whose experience and contributions were valuable to the organization. Greater focus on consistent leadership, clear communication, employee engagement, and a culture of respect would help improve retention and strengthen the workplace overall.
