It's a shambles - Anonymous Forecast Employee Review

The company will claim that they are going through a 'fiscally challenging time', which they certainly are. What they fail to realize though is that companies don't lay off 15-20% of their staff and then open up a brand new office in New York (hardly known for its cheap real estate). The focus should've been in continuing to grow the London and Copenhagen office, having faith and providing development opportunities in recent new hires and filling management positions in the UK and Denmark. Instead the company went for the vanity project in a time of economic downtown for both the company and pretty much everyone working in the tech industry as a whole. So there's absolutely no way you can use that excuse as a justification considering your actions. This had all been led by an individual in the finance team, who in their weekly townhalls, fails to ever take any accountability for the poor economic outlook for the company and who speaks for no longer than 3 minutes, spouting out poor excuses, telling us things need to improve (yes we know, it's yours and other exec's roles to demonstrate how) and looking to get off the mic as quickly as possible. There is no accountability whatsoever and I've never before in my 15+ year professional career seen somebody walk around with such an air of authority but contribute so little in terms of genuine value. The culture of the company has almost totally collapsed to the point of parody. At a recent team meeting, a certain VP openly mocked the firings of individuals from his team. We've also seen other individuals go away on long-term leave and be fired mid-leave. Individuals in certain teams also have no desire to collaborate with others, leaving a silo'd structure with little ability to converse on inter-company projects, development and sales deals.
