Pros

Nothing much really, maybe free biscuits.

Cons

Absolutely everything. Firstly the fantastic wage of earning just above the minimum wage threshold although having worked there for 5 years. Opportunities only given to selective people. Absolutely no equal opportunities in the workplace. Only way to progress is by either being friends with senior staff or other degrading methods. Office environment is awful - in winter, the office was freezing cold, in summer, very hot in the office with no air conditioning facilities. All staff are miserable due to poor pay and poor progression. Only wage rise you ever get is annual 2% which they must do to stay above minimum wage. On my final day, the senior partner in my team told me I would not get employed elsewhere. Awful place for mental health.

Pros

The location was very convenient

Cons

The workplace culture was challenging and, in my experience, lacked professionalism, inclusivity, and mutual respect from the first day I joined. I found there to be a cliquey environment that made it difficult for some employees to feel supported and succeed. There were instances of passive-aggressive behaviour and conduct that I felt undermined collaboration and morale. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this organisation to prospective applicants. Since leaving, I have worked for an employer that promotes fairness, respect, and employee wellbeing, with a strong commitment to preventing workplace bullying and harassment. The contrast has highlighted the importance of a positive and supportive working environment.
