Pros
union? some good co-workers, very independent atmosphere. get to drive buses within the lot. uniforms are provided. Some of the mechanics Bring BBQ to grill out for everyone in the middle of the night- that was nice. (co-workers were the only reason i put a 2 star rating)
Cons
Can be fast paced on certain days. Sometimes things don't go in order (exa. fuel pump not functioning, co-workers not contributing to the task at hand, busses coming in late) can easily make an 8 hour day to a 10-12 hour day quick. Pay wasn't great especially with Union dues docking the pay. Our Union barely did anything to help the employees out (what are workers paying dues for??) Overnight shifts are a standard around the yard, expect to work long nights. Management doesn't seem to care about as long as their jobs are secured.
