Pros

- Most people you will work with are incredibly kind and passionate about their job - Flexible scheduling and relatively light duties on a daily basis - Ability to network with brands and founders - Ability to try out lots of new clean beauty products - Receive education on products, ingredients, and brands

Cons

- Management is terrible and there is no longer a strong company vision or any true core values - Lack of leadership and accountability within your team - Tasks are often delegated to you even though they do not fit your job description and forget about getting properly compensated for taking on new and multiple roles - Improper compensation for work done and no room for growth based on performance - No care, appreciation, or value towards their workers no matter how high or low in position they are - Company has become more about profit (money) and less of a passion project - No one knows what is going on and this often leads to confusion and miscommunication - Unfulfilled promises for growth within the company and your position

Pros

-Free products that they no longer sell or don’t approve of -Moved to a better space recently

Cons

Where do I start? The people are cold and unwelcoming. They sell non-toxic skincare products which doesn’t match the people the hire. Very cliquey and snobby. By the way, if you’re looking for diveristy, you won’t find it here. They both market to and hire one kind of person- white women. Turn over is absurd. They fire people without even giving them a chance to improve. Imagine working somewhere thinking you’re doing your job and then they randomly fire you because you apparently weren’t. You think that’s bad? They’ve had multiple people uproot their entire lives to come work for them just to fire them 4-6 months in. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued yet. On the hiring topic, they hire and put the worst people in leadership positions. They pretty much pay people to act like they’re running departments but are actually god awful and doing absolutely nothing. I can’t count how many people have left and plan on leaving because it’s such a terrible culture. You’re never in the loop of what’s going on. I remember walking in and seeing a new person in my department and not even knowing we hired someone. It’s way too small of a company for that to be happening. Don’t work here unless the above sounds appealing to you. All the nice reviews are from management making employees say nice things.
