Unethical - Accounts Coordinator Focus Staff Employee Review

I left my current company for this one. I was so excited for this new role and what my journey was going to look like. That was until a current employee there that I share “history” with (never met her in person and this small thing happened 2.5 years ago) decided to go tell all higher ups and other co workers about this personal matter that took place that shouldn’t have. She then felt It was necessary to bring me into a private room to talk about the past small incident which is not even remotely appropriate at work. I was greeted with cold faces and Hardly anyone talked to me. I wonder why. I was essentially made to feel so uncomfortable that I wanted to quit. I told these remarks to my supervisor who assured me everything will be okay going forward and to come into the office. 30 minutes later and 8 missed calls from him as I was on the way to tell me that it’s spreading around the office and it’s probably best to part ways. Unethical, un professional and plain harassment. Leave personal stuff at the door. I am in shock.
