Pros
Very relaxed culture with a flexible hybrid work schedule. Empowered PTO and paternity leave are great for those in search of a firm that offers it. Overall it's a stable company, conservative company that while remain very competitive in the marketplace. Their planning philosophy is very simple and effective making it very digestible for clients and prospects to understand.
Cons
Your experience depends on your team. Certain advisors are great while others are happy doing the bare minimum and passing everything off to associates. Very political corporate ladder and very poor compensation/benefits for being a "Forbes Top RIA Firm". They base their pay on a "industry salary study" that they won't make available to their employee base. You'll find very capable individuals in the same position for years before they're promoted. They have a poor continuing education culture as well. Other firms will give you a blank check for designations or seminars while you have to have a business case at Buckingham.
