Pros
Global footprint, opportunity for younger employees who want to move around within a division or between divisions. Generally good people at senior management level if you can get access to them.
Cons
Highly political at upper levels. More tactical than strategic thinking applied across divisions. Although they try to communicate top down, the reality of the situation is that the real strategy is not communicated well through the divisions and business units.
