Amazing team of developers. Very friendly and enjoyable working environment. Snacks and drinks provided, and they take requests. Company trips to Dave and Buster's every one in a while. Great location. Beautiful park across right across the street, and upscale neighboorhoods for going on walks. Also, it's close to Starbucks. Advancement opportunities. Lots of responsibility, if you enjoy that.
Cons
Pay is based on performance and seniority. This means that beginners will get paid very little and raises do not come fast enough. Software runs on outdated and clunky technology. There is no documentation for the PHP framework they use. Developers are spread thin with the large number of clients. No way to give them all the attention they need. Each client has a customized version of the software, just for them. While this seems a selling point, it causes a lot of headaches for developers because you have to relearn how the software works for each client. Expectations and protocols for handling stressful situations are not communicated. Head of company will chew you out for things you didn't know were expected.
