Pros

Small, creative team within a Globally owned company. Culture and approach is very different from Interface. Fantastic product--company has invested a great deal in rebranding. Central west loop location and frequently catered lunches.

Cons

Transparency is one-sided, and you will receive emails on the weekend. There is very little autonomy or work from home flexibility unless you're a director or higher. Leadership is aware of cultural issues but not addressing them head on.

Pros

Great product to sell, great customers to work with, great colleagues. Creative work and good balance of residential and commercial projects. I really like the vibe FLOR has. It's fun product to work with with a great story as part of Interface. I am proud to be a part of this company.

Cons

The company is really trying to figure itself out (who they are and how to best market that). The industry and opportunities for modular flooring are changing so FLOR is trying their best to address that. Therefore, as with anything it takes patience and a positive attitude to embrace the changes coming down from the corporate ladder. It's a great opportunity to grow in an industry where there is need and want for creative flooring solutions. It can be frustrating when a clear direction is not communicated. Additionally, little room for advancement from field (would have to work at warehouse or corporate office for advancement opportunity or be willing to relocate).
