Pros
There's a clear mission, great people, and a lot of opportunity at Flock. I'm really loving working here. The culture maintains a lot of the good things about a startup - moving fast, minimal bureaucracy - and pairs it with really smart, engaged, and kind people. Over a year in and I've found that the people who stick around focus on working on the problem versus attacking people, risk-taking is encouraged as long as you have some good justification and communication, and there's a strong emphasis on values and ethics regardless of the situation. Garrett and the leadership team are pretty solid - clear direction and adaptability to all the changing situations
Cons
It's very much a startup growing into being a bigger company. There's a lot of growing pains and challenges as people try to put some process on the madness. And with that, priorities can sometimes swing which is challenging and can be tiring.
