A lot of micromanagement. Managers/supervisors in the kitchen have their favourites and often turn a blind eye to issues involving them. Meanwhile, new staff are held accountable for things that those favourites are not. They also try to solve problems, but without truly listening or addressing the root cause — only in a superficial way.
