Pros
The team at Flexys has a wealth of experience under their belt from the financial and IT industry making key members experts in their fields. This hasn't gone to their heads, so the transparency within the company and focus on education and teamwork to empower others has made my time at Flexys personally invaluable and enjoyable. Because of the shinning reviews of our product by clients I feel I'm really making a meaningful contribution to peoples lives, which is incredibly life affirming for me. And to keep things short my last point is; personal professional development opportunities and reviews are fantastic and ensure I feel valued.
Cons
The plan for expansion was more of a vision than a concrete action list to streamline new employees experience, so on-boarding can be a more or less steep learning curve depending on the job role, though this is being addressed currently as we go through a period of rapid expansion. The original ethos of less bureaucracy and more self explanatory code makes the more complex areas of the system difficult to reason about, without the tech leads being there progress would be stifled.
