Pros

I've been with Flextrack for over 7 years and seen the growth trajectory in the last 4. Exciting product with great clients and a great team. I have supportive managers and I love the flexibility and autonomy this company grants me - which fits my work/life schedule. The work can be intense, but that also fits my personality as I perform well under pressure. I work 100% from home, with the occasional travel. I am also permitted to work remotely from a different country which was helpful when I needed to be out of Canada for personal family reasons. The company is growing exponentially but business decisions are still local and I appreciate the fact we can make quick decisions for the sake of the business's best interests - no internal red tape - just get the job done.

Cons

With huge growth - change can be challenging as with any organization. Patience is required. Up and down cycles - some days are longer than others but that's how it goes especially during implementation phases. Compensation and benefits is fair - though I wish there is RRSP matching contributions.

Pros

Most of my coworkers were friendly people. If everyone wasnt so stressed out and actually wanted to be there I could imagine a real sense camaraderie.

Cons

Your devices will come installed with keylogging and mouse tracking software. The quality of the work you wont matter if you arent clicking enough. Your ex-management consultant manager will consistently set timelines based on no information then get mad when those timelines are not met. When the experts they hire suggest best practices to improve processes they reject the advice because its "the way we have always done it." or it doesn't fit the previously mentioned timeline. The product is average, process and documentation are basically non existent, and I would not expect any type of training should you decide to work here.
