Pros
None that I can think of
Cons
The executive director is entirely uninspiring and has no interest in leading the organization. She appears to be exasperated by her job all the time, and her company meeting speeches are as motivational as cardboard. They hire managers that have zero expertise in the subject-matter they are paid to manage and will look to you to fill in for their lack of knowledge. I work with colleagues that do not follow up on case work, and provide unintelligible information regarding housing, and have no interest in being provided guidance because their egos are more important than providing accurate information. Senior management will claw at your work and take credit for it before the board of directors because they have no ideas of their own. You will not be allowed to speak about your ideas or work, because your managers will talk for you in company meetings. It is the most toxic work environment I have worked in and for substandard pay, no less.
