      Pros

      I've been an employee at Flagship Publishing for more than 10 years. I came in at a junior level and am thankful for the promotional opportunities I have been given. We have been succeeding in the difficult world of media - a real testament to the dedication of the entire team at Flagship Publishing. The pay and benefits are fair. My needs have always been taken into consideration. The company is flexible. I feel like my opinion and efforts matter here.

      Cons

      As a smaller company (15 employees), everyone on the team carries their own weight. It's obvious if any single person falls behind. Fortunately, we try to help one another if any of us struggles.

      Pros

      Flagship Publishing was a joy to work at. They are a small, family-owned business that is making a difference in the lives of employees and customers. I have nothing but good things to say about the owners. They made accommodations for my unique family/work arrangement and supported me when I needed to leave for personal reasons.

      Cons

      Small, growing company means everyone has to pull weight - if an employee fails or falls behind, the team rallies to pick up the slack. Poor performers and prima donnas get weeded out fast.

      Lack of communication, no transparency between owners and staff. Micromanagement.
