Pros

* Great food for the $ * Learn the basics of food preparation and cooking. * Relatively clean environment (at my location). * Flexible hours in most cases. * Were allowed discounted food during working days.

Cons

* An unprofessional stuck up manager who was completely disinterested in 'lesser' employees and had no interest in communication unless you were a 'buddy'. * Manager and employees who openly discussed their drug use while on the job. (I really don't care what you do on your own time.) * A number of rude and unprofessional employees who had no respect for one another. (one of them thought he would sneakily flip me off without me noticing while I was cooking HIS fries) * Job hierarchy seemed to be determined more by a buddy system than by work ethic. * Little to no job security. * Very small chance of growth in company unless you've got a 4yr+ degree in business.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
