Pros

Other staff, particularly part-timers are pretty easy to get along with. everyone likes to joke around with each other Small menu = easier to remember everything Working on the line time passes pretty fast Good way to earn $ when in school

Cons

Yes, they do cut hours if you cannot come in on short notice. It's extremely annoying and messed up to be called in on a day that you absolutely cant come and then not be scheduled for two weeks because of it When on cash you have to do A LOT. you have to take customers orders clean tables sweep floors keep everything stocked clean windows take out garbage clean washrooms and more and youre expected to be able to somehow do this all at the same time?? Youre expected to know things they never teach you..and they make you feel bad for it which is crazy Closing shifts SUCK. and if you work after school they will pretty much only give you them. Training is poorly done and rushed Gross smells all day long.. whether its raw meat or garbage or toilets its never fun

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
