Nepotism- noticed a lot of friends of the managers getting their kids jobs there with minimal effort, bypassing the application and usual routes.
Elitism- if you weren’t from Cambridge nor been to the best schools in the area then you were looked down upon massively and often accused of theft if mistakes were made. Be prepared from rude icy behaviour from all the staff as well, particularly the managers.
I’ve witnessed a lot of racist behaviour and accusations of bad behaviour from staff towards work experience kids, and heard of more from others. Any interns, work experience kids or any temps be prepared for this.
