Employees' habit of emailing management rather than mentoring newer colleagues hampers skill and knowledge transfer, disadvantaging new hires. Senior Management Team (SMT) needs improvement in hands-on employee management, they prioritise procedures over effective supervision. This hampers long-term employee development. Management's failure to communicate concerns directly prevents employees from addressing issues, slowing down learning and development.
