Pros
Each franchise will vary, but it's a good job if you're in-between careers and don't mind the physical labor. Commission based pay, but you're never not working so the money is pretty steady. No two days are the same and you're constantly on the move so the days go fast. Very good for developing customer service skills since you work with a very wide and diverse range of customers.
Cons
No matter how hot, cold, windy, rainy, or snowy it is jobs have got to get done, which can be frustrating. Can be very physically demanding. Wouldn't recommend for a long term option, but a great short term solution in todays frustrating job market. Very little room for job growth and advancement. Depending on the franchise the benefits are minimal to none.
