Pros
Company has a quality product that is worth standing behind. They build beautiful homes and put a lot of care into what is being presented to the marketplace.
Cons
Advancement is extremely limited. There is a mentality of “I hired you to do a specific job because that’s the job I need you to do” and with this mentality on-going training opportunities and preparation for a next role run the spectrum of extremely limited to nonexistent depending on how hard you try personally to succeed professionally. The tenured employees at the corporate office have been doing the same role for many years and with that comes a lack of natural advancement for younger employees. Compensation and benefits are less than desirable. Only one week of vacation is allotted for the entire first year, which can be borrowed from the second year after you have been with the company for six months. This is not conducive to adulthood.
