Cons

Lack of training from management, extremely long process to expected task , disrespect from training peers . Management too busy to train. Job not as described in interview. unprofessionalism from manager and dispatch lead towards new hire.

Pros

The branch-level team is excellent. Because of the accounting leadership challenges, the accountants really pull together and support one another. I made some great professional connections with very talented people in the trenches. Also, because leadership is often disengaged or lacks technical depth, you are often left to find your own solutions and grow as an accountant.

Cons

The Accounting leadership is out of their depth, leading to chaotic and disorganized processes and low morale. The result is a high-turnover environment where the people fired or leave before they are given a real opportunity. HR is fully aware of the culture and leadership problems—they will even admit it in private—but they are either unwilling or unable to take action.
