Pros

The senior management is fantastic; they are professional, treat you very well, and appreciate it when you help out.

Cons

Some of the female dispatchers are snotty and rude. And no one seems to address their bad behavior. Also, one guy in mid-management doesn't listen or even care to learn the truth. Whenever someone calls and complains about the driver, he takes their word over the driver. I was angry about this because my para and the camera in the bus would have cleared me. But he didn't care to pursue it. Also, a few years back, another driver told me that he claimed she hit a student. When they ran the bus camera, and it cleared her, he sat there and said nothing. He should have apologized to her, but he didn't. There are a few other drawbacks too. One is working a split shift. Getting up very early and finishing late makes the day long. The hours are erratic too. You either have a long day or not enough hours. We all would appreciate higher pay and more benefits. Also, you can't collect unemployment during the summer. And this makes it hard for those of us who need the money.
