Pros
A lot of great, hardworking, smart people for the most part. Remote work. Opportunity to learn a ton about the business. Turnover leads to promotions faster. Decent pay & benefits (mostly). Easy to stand out and make a name for yourself if you work hard (because plenty of others don't).
Cons
Grew too fast, made bad decisions early on and now executive team is scared to make bad decisions, leading to indecision and going in too many different directions. This leads to keeping bad people who should be let go, which leads to losing good people too often.
Leadership is not transparent with how the company is doing financially. They say we're doing great things, but we don't have enough money to hire help when needed, and they cut bonus structures. Gives employees a bad feeling, mixed signals.
Leadership is trying to do too many 'corporate' things to keep the masses happy, but won't take action where it matters or makes a difference.
