Pros

My branch manager was pleasant. Personal Banker was extremely moody, unapproachable and verbally abusive.

Cons

Personal Banker was verbally abusive to staff resulting in multiple people leaving. Insurance was horrible (extremely high deductible). The responsibility they expect from you for the $$ they pay is deplorable, it's a big sales game and they expect you to "hustle" the customers to sell a product. Extremely unprofessional work environment. I was a model employee, showed up early, stayed late, did volunteer work for FNB and correctly balanced everyday and only lasted 5 months, 5 of the longest months of my life!! One of the CRAZIEST places I've ever worked!

Pros

Decent management support and ability to have input on issues important to your work. Management constantly looking for feedback, however at times the result is different than the intention. Decent pay and very good benefits. Bonus payouts can be lucrative, provided they don't change the rules right before your payout.

Cons

New customers seem to reap benefits and incentives, while existing customers get nothing. Uniform underwriting is not flexible, and non-traditional customers pay the price. Pay at the lower end of the corporate ladder is terrible, though responsibility levels are through the roof. Opportunities to promote are extremely limited.
