      The founder's vision is stellar. He wants to make a difference in the world. To personally fund a journalism enterprise with significant $, to ensure a free and aggressive press in the US is such a worthy goal.

      Cons

      There were the normal growing pains of any early, fast-growing startup. There were mis-hires on the editorial side that affected the culture. But they cleaned house.

      -Supportive team members and managers -progressive company culture and values -flexible work life -exciting start-up feel -you can carve your own path

      Cons

      -limitations to room for growth because of bureaucracy -small team means working overtime even with generous PTO

      The find people who have passion, not egos, find interesting projects.

      Leadership is separate from employees, does not communicate effectively. You have to move out to move up, no career growth.
