Make you feel like it’s somehow your department’s fault personally if the bonus is not good that year. Tenured employees gain twice the PTO and often times gone for long amounts of times or when you need them. Leaving other department members burned out and feeling and if they aren’t allowed to ask for their time off without being guilt tripped.
