Management strings employees around advertising raises at the Year mark etc but will simply give employees tiny percent raises. They will even flat out tell you that they believe you are not ready for a raise but you are continuing to hit their goals and that they are 'excited for your growth' it is all fantasy. Turn over is extremely high, even the bottom of the barrel employees get fired, honestly surprised they can keep finding people willing to accept sub-30k salaries.
