Pros

Good starting PTO, potential to improve efficiency in process and bring technology into 21st century

Cons

Old school micromanagement IT managers that have been with bank a long time go on power trips to control their direct reports and non-managers. Management skills are lacking - manage by knee-jerk reacting, panic, risk averse to everything, can only make decisions by committee, not accountable for decisions and not held accountable, do not empower employees. Their behaviors are similar to middle school - talk about employees to other staff. Talk the talk, but can't walk the walk when it comes to living the company values of transparency. You know there are wider culture problems when you see people sitting in their cars to eat lunch. Many ITstaff work lots of weekend hours on regular basis due to lack of efficiency and poor planning.

Pros

Great opportunity for learning and growth, and many people in the organization to learn from who are willing to help.

Cons

Over saturation of the market and unrealistic sales goals that are always changing make it difficult to set down stakes for the customers and team. Unlimited PTO leaves many managers picking up slack for multiple branches where other managers are rarely there, even when managers and team members out on medical leave.
