Pros

Sales Reps' compensation can be very high. Lots of internal tools and perks are available. Easy training & onboarding processes.

Cons

It literally feels like being back in high school to work at First Am. The office culture, senior management, and lack of support staff made my experience SO incredibly toxic. RUN AWAY FAST!! If you don't fit into the "cool kids club," they will legitimately set you up to fail. Don't trust anyone, even your manager. HR is not on your side - remember that their job is to make sure the company doesn't get sued. Get everything in writing and keep all of your paper trails. First Am DOES NOT value their existing customers - nearly ALL focus is supposed on new business. Upper leadership never shares any details or scope of the grand plans that they promise to be working towards, and major changes regularly happen completely out of left field. Smooth talking senior managers get away with literally anything they want and are never questioned. It has been an absolute nightmare.

Pros

Teammates are generally very cooperative and fun to work with. There are always opportunities to learn something new. Team leads are mostly good people too.

Cons

Very top down chain of command. Managers are often not involved in day to day things, and then fault you when they don't know what's going on.

Pros

- They have employees with some of the longest tenure i've seen.

Cons

- Nepotism is rampant - Departments are extremely siloed, making work other groups contentious. - There is no such thing as a common goal. Your competing with your own department instead of working together.
