Out of all the places I've worked at, I probably felt the most drained, stressed, and unmotivated here due to poor leadership. It's really difficult to feel motivated at this company when all decision-making procedures are dependent on the CEO and teams in China when we're creating and releasing products for the US.
Another thing. although all of the coworkers were great and had genuine passion for the games they were building, but very few had prior experience (including the CEO). This resulted in confusing/unreasonable demands by the CEO and delays in processes getting approvals/responses from China. This system just didnt work as a small startup and the people in charge were out of touch with the audience we were building the games for.
