Pros

Despite the amazing and inspiring founders the current state of gender representation and overall company culture is very concerning.

Cons

Concerning Gender inequality : * Underrepresentation: The current female employee population sits at a concerning 20%, with a downward trend. * The termination of female employees after their maternity leave sends a chilling message and creates a hostile work environment for women. * The lack of female representation at senior levels, with qualified women reporting to less experienced men, indicates a significant barrier to career advancement for women. * The implication of a lack of female representation in leadership positions suggests a potential gender pay gap. * The recent appointment of only one woman to the C-suite after an extended search, coupled with the excuse of a lack of qualified female candidates (a demonstrably false claim in other industries), paints a concerning picture for future female recruitment. Overall Culture Decline: * The decline in employee morale, evidenced by the firing of high-performing individuals, lack of transparent communication regarding raises, and meaningless responses to inquiries, is concerning. * Inexperienced mid-level managers require proper training to foster a positive and productive work environment. * The shift from a "work hard, play hard" culture to an ultra-demanding environment with little regard for employee well-being is also a concern. Fireblocks was once “the place to work for”. It is a shame to see the current state of the company.

Pros

• Exceptional Leadership Support: I’ve received unwavering backing from my supervisor—empowering, transparent, and always available when needed. • Top-Tier Team: My direct reports are some of the most driven, smart, and collaborative professionals I’ve ever worked with. • Company-Wide Excellence: I get to work with incredibly talented, mission-driven individuals across every department. • Culture of Innovation: Fireblocks moves fast and encourages you to bring new ideas to the table—it’s a place where innovation is welcomed, not stifled. • Real Ownership: You’re given autonomy and trust to lead, make decisions, and drive meaningful impact. • Growth Opportunities: It’s a rapidly growing company in a dynamic industry. If you’re proactive, there’s no shortage of ways to stretch, grow, and advance. • High-Impact Work: You’re contributing to real solutions in digital asset security and infrastructure—work that matters. • Collaborative Environment: Despite the fast pace, collaboration is prioritized and cross-functional teamwork is strong.

Cons

• Pace Can Be Intense: The speed at which the company operates is exhilarating—but it can also be overwhelming if you’re not used to high-velocity environments. Prioritization is key. • Not for Everyone: This environment rewards initiative and ownership. Those looking for rigid structure or hand-holding may find it difficult to thrive.

Pros

As a Solution Architect at Fireblocks, I’ve had the privilege of working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world enterprise needs in the digital asset space. From day one, it was clear that this company is built on a foundation of innovation, security, and an unwavering commitment to solving complex challenges for our customers. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role has been collaborating with clients ranging from traditional financial institutions to fast-growing Web3 startups. Fireblocks’ platform is robust, scalable, and constantly evolving—with tools like our MPC-based custody and automated policy engine enabling us to deliver secure, flexible solutions that meet each client’s unique needs. The engineering culture here is top-notch—forward-thinking, agile, and deeply technical. What I appreciate most is that architecture isn’t an afterthought at Fireblocks. The company values long-term thinking and scalable design, and as a Solution Architect, I’ve had the autonomy to design solutions that are not only technically sound but also aligned with our customers’ strategic goals. Cross-functional collaboration is excellent too. Product, engineering, sales, and customer success all work together seamlessly, which makes it easy to bring value to clients and stay ahead of the market. Leadership is accessible, transparent, and genuinely supportive of professional growth and innovation. If you’re a technologist who thrives on solving real-world problems with real impact—and you want to work on infrastructure that’s shaping the future of finance—Fireblocks is the place to be.
