Pros
Until you are there, you will have no reason to complain, especially if you are a junior or mid-level. This is because you are in an environment with young colleagues, and you will never perceive what is going on at the high level of the company, except for some superficial communication in meetings. Ultimately, they need people to do the job, and they are smart enough to keep the situation sinisterly silent and strangely assertive, as I perceived during conversations with direct colleagues. But at some point, always someone disappears with some kind of excuse. I mean, there is a really high rate of 'this relationship did not work for either party' there, for a company of 20-30 persons. Who will be the next?
Cons
Unfortunately, I can't advise anyone to join them. The management behaved very unprofessionally with me, and many other cases sounded very similar to mine. I came to Fios Genomics from abroad, and after 4 (!) interviews, remote and in person, in which we definitely had the possibility to appreciate each other both technically and personally, I have been asked by them to trust and join the company. It was a difficult decision for me, but in the end, I considered it a good opportunity for my career and accepted. I left a very good piece of work at Fios, and a lot more needed to be done. Their technical setup and the quality of the code that I found were certainly poor according to my professional standard (but possibly also according to any common one), but that was OK: I had a high-level technical role and lived it as a challenge. Of course, it took me a couple of months to get specifically into the topic, but nobody with common good sense could have expected the contrary, especially having well in mind to have asked for a relocation from a different country. Unfortunately, only a couple of months after joining, they clearly showed to have already changed their mind, and after few more months, I have been taken apart with the excuse of a meeting and never allowed to come back to the office, not even for a greeting to my ex-colleagues. No other relevant communications or explanations. Just the usual excuses. I was very dedicated during my work there, but I was treated pretty much as if I were a thief.
They demonstrated a lack of a sense of responsibility for what ultimately was their initiative, let alone empathy.
