Pros

Management is open to new ideas. They would listen to you if changes are suggested that increase the incoming business.

Cons

* It is not really a tech organisation. A large portion of the business is done using excel sheets. * The management is only focused on getting "numbers". Pressure on people to finish their work on time. * Little attention is paid to the quality of work. * Business-first company. This is one of the organisations which puts on a great show to be people-first, but in practice it is completely different. People are expected to put in their personal hours to help achieve business deadlines. * No work-life balance. Alternate Saturdays are working. * People are terminated haphazardly.

None worth highlighting, except gaining experience under pressure.

Cons

1. Lack of Quality in Product Development: Minimal design patterns and coding standards are followed. Focus is solely on patchwork and customer-centric quick fixes, resulting in an unstable product. 2. Job Security and Work-Life Balance: No job security. Work is not timely or structured; employees are overloaded with tasks. The CEO explicitly states that this is not a 9-to-6 job, demanding constant availability. 3. Management Issues: CEO appoints relatives to higher positions, raising concerns about favoritism. Only select individuals provide good ratings, skewing the overall perception.

Pros

This is why I love working here: - Cool workplace! No formal dress code or someone to formally report to. A lot of freedom in terms of choosing our own way to solve a problem. - Knowledgeable colleagues that have come from a strong work background. The discussions that we have are always interesting and worth a lot. - Strong management team that have years of experience in what we do. - Our learning is not just limited to our roles, it extends to the various roles that finzy offers, enough opportunity to step up and take a stand for something that I believe should be done. - It’s a flat organization, and we get to raise our voice for concerns. The management team is always open to ideas and genuinely thinks about solving those concerns. (Recently, many of us talked about getting more time for ourselves and now finally the alternate Saturdays are off!) - And the most important of all, love playing carrom-board games with some of the experts in here! ;)

Cons

- Still have to work alternate Saturdays. Hope we start getting all Saturdays off soon. - Since it’s still a small team, a lot of interesting stuff (both technology wise and functionality wise) that could be developed remains on paper and we could never pick it up for implementation. Hopefully it would be possible to work on such features when tech team grows.
