Pros
It didn't seem like work when I enjoyed what I did. All my co-workers on my shift were the reason I really enjoyed working there. They helped me and like to think I helped them. My superviser was incredible and so were all the front end engineers I was fortunate enough to work with, I learned so much from each of them. As far as the perks: - While I was there I definitely took advantage of as much overtime as possible so I could learn from other shifts as well as be sure we were all on the same page when it came to keeping the process flowing smoothly and learning how senior tech on other shifts were able to overcome problematic issues that might get overlooked on other shifts. - good Insurance - in house cafeteria/break room with plenty of vending machines and food trucks for parts of the week. - plenty of projects to do to keep you busy - the company insurance really took care of me while while I was out on FMLA -
Cons
- the company was bought out while I was on mandatory medical leave for a few months, which caused a ton of layoffs.. in combination with the very beginning of “The COVID Era”. -
