Pros

Most employees are lovely people with good intentions and genuine desire to create value in their roles.

Cons

Where do I start...how about at the top? The CEO has received funding from an investor who has shown ZERO interest in company performance or results. The CEO displays ZERO operating experience in a technology startup. The CEO has ZERO strategy, operating plan or budget. He has ZERO interest in team collaboration, discussing difficult strategic questions, or providing any direction or constructive feedback. He has ZERO people or communication skills, does not interact with employees at company events and avoids group meetings at all costs. The company has built ZERO viable or differentiated products in the market due to the lack of direction or prioritization. There is a repeated pattern of hiring “leaders” representing functional areas, promoting them, demoting them, ignoring them, and then randomly interrogating their value to the organization and then most often letting them go. The CEO hires and fires employees erratically while the remaining teams are left to figure out how to absorb the changes. Morale is questionable at best and sugar-coated with in-office gatherings. If you’re seriously considering a position here, get control over your exit terms in your employment contract before you start and be prepared to be let down in a big way.

Pros

- Everything people say about the games, free lunches (4 days a week), and snacks is true. - Engineers have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup with a very flexible schedule. (But I love coming to the office every day—maybe -Finfare gives me enough passion to do that.) - The company is full of talented Backend and Frontend engineers from whom you can learn every day. - Hard work is recognized with promotions, raises, and bonuses. - Management has accepted and listened to direct and honest feedback without hard feelings, improving processes as a result. - HR has improved its processes to help employees feel comfortable sharing their feelings about their managers, the company, and any general processes, and is willing to act on that feedback, contributing to organizational growth. - Many great products are live, and more are being built. I have been with Finfare for almost two years and have gone through both good and hard times, but overall, it has been a great experience. Regarding job security at Finfare, I always apply the concept of working in a startup as, "If you are a very good partner or spouse, nobody wants to leave you." Believe me, just keep doing the right thing, and you will be rewarded.

Cons

Excessive documentation will lead to a slower development process and an increased maintenance burden.

Cons

Job security was uncertain due to regular layoffs. Employees faced layoffs despite strong performance and contributions.
