Cons

-Manager was often not paying attention to tasks at hand and never take responsibility for their actions -Office Admins are extremely paranoid, yet ask for help above your clearance as a new employee; then you get yelled at when there is no clearance mentioned on the job description for helping them. -Rude and accusatory interactions from CEO and CTO -Moldy & Crusty Building, you will have allergies even if you don’t and the carpet is never cleaned -Management doesn’t protect customers from calling in at the last few minutes of the day for 2 hr phone calls -Building fire alarm and electrical is constantly going off

Pros

It is a job that pays the bills. This could be a great company once they clean house starting from the top.

Cons

This is the strangest work environment I’ve ever experienced. The training approach at this company has been extremely unstructured and hands-off. Rather than a formal onboarding process with clear goals or expectations , new employees are expected to learn entirely through outdated notes, scattered documentation, and lengthy webinars that aren’t even helpful to their clients. There’s no guided walkthrough of the systems, and very little support. The expectation is to self-teach while preparing to lead classes and support others — even before mastering the material yourself. This leads to a constant state of confusion and lack of confidence across the team, since we’re often just reading information we haven’t truly had time to absorb or apply. Despite the lack of support, the expectations remain high. The environment is dry, disconnected, and discouraging. Managers are not allowed to perform floor-level work, but also don’t engage meaningfully to help improve training or morale. The overall result is a toxic culture where employees feel set up to fail rather than empowered to succeed. No expectations for management. Not to mention vacation must be approved by the PRESIDENT. They control when and how you can use PTO and you better not be a minute late with this salary position but they can take up 4-5 days of your life 7a-10p every April for user conference which is required with no accommodation or compensation to the staff. Hotel stay is about $500. Good news is they give out management titles like it’s a candy, no experience needed.
