Pros
The best part of my job was my coworkers -- my peers on my team were very supportive and friendly when you need guidance starting out to get your footing. The environment between peers is great and there are plenty of opportunities to socialize and meet across teams (though this is a little harder) and there is an emphasis on professional growth.
Cons
Positions are filled by favoritism, not necessarily who is most qualified to be managers. Middle managers have no training and are only interested in making their sales quotas, often to the detriment to their employees (including taking away their employee's sales). Although they market themselves as a "news outlet," sales meetings often say, "We're a revenue-drive company" and as a result, the editorial arm of the company comes secondary. They think of employees as disposable even when they are bending over backwards to prospect and grow territories but all that matters at the end of the day is how much revenue you're worth for the company.
